DataPro Group Ltd. has developed Heart Passport - monitoring system for screening of cardiovascular system of Latvian children and teenagers. Our remote patient monitoring solution is designed to perform early diagnostics of cardiovascular diseases for Latvian pupils.
Heart Passport includes a web-based E-MED centre, software application and wireless 1-lead cardiograph. The system provides a patient data management system that digitally stores results of various diagnostic tests. Designed to address a variety of healthcare settings, our system offers operational capabilities in health centres at schools bringing the service close to its main target group.
Operational principles of Heart Passport in schools:
- The health centres in schools get equipped with primary (portable electrocardiograph DP-EKG-1 and computer with Internet connection) and preferably secondary (blood pressure meter and electronic scales) equipment. The school nurses get trained to work with the system (cardiograph and E-MED centre).
- The school’s nurse does the ECG and other readings and ensures the data transfer to E-MED centre.
- In E-MED centre we ensure data processing in cooperation with leading specialists of Children’s Clinical University Hospital (paid service). Diagnosis with recommendations is then sent to school’s nurse.
- School’s nurse sends this information further to children’s parents.
